Lancaster Avenue has just about the best manhole covers anywhere, but definitely in Philly, so one of our super stellar Building Heroes, Wynn Geary, turned it into a pretty rad t-shirt.

The original cover was designed by the husband of the pastor down the street from Tiny WPA's community workshop at 4017 Lancaster Ave. Gwen's husband was an aerospace engraver and is also responsible for a nearby mural depicting the rich history of the neighborhood.
